Originally from Cypress, Texas, Cammile graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in education. She grew up with parents Eddie and Lisa and her twin sister, Ashley. Cammile began swimming at four years of age and has developed into one of the fastest butterfliers in the world. After winning the 200 butterfly at the 2012 US Olympic Trials, Cammile finished fifth in that event in London. She went on to win the 200 yard fly at the 2013 and 2014 NCAA Championships, the 2013 and 2014 US National Championships, and at the 2014 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships. In 2105, Cammile won silver in the 200 meter butterfly at the FINA World Championships, and claimed first at the Duel in the Pool in December, where she broke the American Record for short course meters.

2012 Olympics - 5th in 200m butterfly

2012 US Olympic Trials - 1st in 200m butterfly, 3rd in 400 IM

2013 and 2014 NCAA Champion in 200y butterfly

2011 and 2012 NCAA Championships - 2nd in 200y butterfly

2013 and 2014 US National Champion in 200m butterfly

2014 Pan Pacific Swimming Champion in 200m butterfly

2015 FINA World Championships - 2nd in 200m butterfly

2015 Duel in the Pool - 1st and a new American record (2:03.39) in SCM 200 fly
