SwimMAC Connection: Has been involved with SwimMAC as both a swimmer and parent for 15 years.
Swimming History: Started swimming at 15 in Quantico, VA; swam at Virginia Tech, currently a SwimMAC masters swimmer
Professional: Certified public accountant with BGW CPA in Charlotte

Jeff and his wife, Dana, have been in the Charlotte area for more than 20 years. They have four children: Jeffrey (16), Joseph (13), Avery (11), and Logan (2), and currently live in Waxhaw.
The Murrays are a family of swimmers. Jeff began swimming at the age of 15 and must have been a natural. He went on to swim at Virginia Tech, where he met his wife, Dana, on the swim team. He continued to compete after college and swam at U.S. Nationals for SwimMAC during the 1999/2000 season. Jeff currently trains and with the south SwimMAC Masters.
Three of the four Murray children are either currently swimming or have previously; and the fourth we expect will follow the family tradition once he is out of diapers.
On joining the board of directors, Jeff said, "It has been exciting to watch the team progress under Marsh and I wanted to be a part of its continued growth and success. SwimMAC offers a lifetime of success and enjoyment for all ages, from age 5 to 80, from just learning to swim to making the Olympics to competing in Masters Nationals. I hope my financial background along with a knowledge and passion for swimming will make a valuable contribution to the board as we continue to make the SwimMAC program the best in the country."
