Kristina Olack

Kristina Olack

North Marlin 2 Lead Coach

Kristina started out with SwimMAC in October 2015, with Jr. Swim League and Dophin 1.  She is from the Chicago area where she began her swimming career roughly 17 years ago.  She has been involved with all aspects of the sport by swimming, teaching, and coaching.  She swam for Academy Bullets’ elite team under Bill Schalz.  She continued her swimming career as a collegiate swimmer for Carthage College under Beth DeLaRosby where she was a distance freestyler as well as a 400 IM, 200 fly, and 200 backstroker.  She placed all four years as a conference team swimmer and was team captain her senior year.

Kristina received her bachelors degree in neuroscience and biology and is working on her masters degree at UNCC in cognitive science.  Between reading research articles for school and coaching, she continues her journey as an athlete and is currently training for multiple races including a triathlon and a half marathon.

Kristina has taught and coached swimmers of all ages as well as triathletes needing to gain endurance strength in the swim portion of their race.  She is a strong believer that if you have a solid foundation and technique in all four strokes that you will be able to go far in this sport.

Kristina is honored to be a part of the Marlin group and the North division coaching staff at SwimMAC Carolina.  She is looking forward to continue growth of the team and as a coach.
