Madison Kennedy















Madison Kennedy is a U.S. National Team sprint specialist. Originally from Connecticut, Madison competed for the University of California at Berkeley while pursuing her psychology degree. She competed in both the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Trials, placing ninth and fifth, respectively, in her best event, the 50 freestyle. Madison competed for Team USA at the 2014 Short Course World Championships in Doha, Qatar and was a member of the world record-setting mixed 200 freestyle relay. She also brought home silver medals in the 400 freestyle relay, the women’s 200 freestyle relay, and placed 4th in the 50 freestyle. When she is not training in the pool, Madison works as a trainer in the studio - teaching classes at Hilliard Studio Method. She also works at lululemon at the Southpark Mall and is the oldest of three girls. 


Swimming accomplishments. 

2015 U.S. Nationals - 1st in 50m free, 3rd in 100m free

2015 Pan American Games - silver in 4x100 free relay, 5th in 50m free

2014 FINA Short Course World Championships - 1st and world record in 200m mixed free relay, 2nd in 400m free relay, 2nd in 200m free relay, 4th in 50 free

2014 U.S. Nationals - 4th in 50 free, 10th in 100 free, 10th in 50 back

2012 U.S. Olympic Trials - 5th in 50 free, 8th in 100 free

2008 U.S. Olympic Trials - 9th in 50 free, 13th in 100 free
