Sarah is a native of Vincennes, Ind. and has been coaching since 1999. She has experience with both club and collegiate teams beginning with the Danville Aquatic Club in Danville, KY. There, she managed everything form practices, meet preparation and budgeting, to selecting and purchasing team equipment. Sarah became a well-rounded and experienced coach within this role of head coach.
During her tenure with the Danville team, Sarah also worked part time as an assistant coach with Centre College. Their coaching staff was recognized four times as staff of the year by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference while Sarah was with them. During the 2010-2011 season Centre sent two athletes to the NCAA Championship and both earned All-American honors.
In addition to her coaching roles, Sarah also served as the assistant director of the Colonel Swim Camp and volunteered as the age group chair on the Kentucky LSC Board of Directors. In that position she oversaw all-star events and state-wide clinics and camps.
Sarah is married to Travis Holman and they have one son, Parker. Outside of swimming Sarah enjoys running and spending time outdoors with her family.
