  Scott Wiltsey
    South Dolphin 1 Assistant Coach

Education: University at Buffalo, B.S. Computer Science

    Joined SwimMAC staff: September 2011

Originally from Endicott, New York, Scott swam competitively from the age of eleven through the age of 22, including four years of collegiate swimming under athletic scholarship at The University at Buffalo.  Specializing in the Individual Medley and Butterfly, the team captured both the ECAC and ECC Conference Championships in his Senior year.

During his time at UB, Scott and fellow teammates also participated in cutting edge swimming research projects under Head Coach Budd Termin and Dr. David Pendergast around VO2 and the relationships between bio-mechanics and energy costs of swimming as it relates to swimming performance.

When not on deck at SwimMAC, Scott works for Microsoft Corporation and enjoys bringing his love of technology into the program to aid in the learning process.  Scott is married to his wife Sharon, and they have two sons (Curtis and Kevin) who also call SwimMAC home.

According to Scott, the best thing about being a SwimMAC Coach is "the contagious nature of the positive energy and enthusiasm of the athletes in the program.  It’s a source of inspiration!”
